This is a traditional farmhouse with nice accommodations. The farmhouse produces olive-oil and most of its products are used in the restaurant. The traditions of the region are well maintained. Providing good food is one of their pillars. Examples are home made cheese (Caciotta Vaccina Frentana) and hams (Ventricina del Vastese) made of semi-wild pigs (a special slowfood).

Location and surroundings
Holiday farm house Caniloro is situated close to the Adriatic and is nearby the Majella national park. In winter it is possible to go skiing in this area. And in summer you can enjoy the beaches.
This part of the Adriatic coast is called the “Trabocchi” coast, named after the many fishing platforms at the coast which are worthwile visiting. Some of these “trabocchi” can be visited. On one of them there is even a restaurant.
The most nearby place to visit at the coast is Ortona which has a nice fortress and some good restaurants. For shopping, going to the beach or going out one should go to Pescara.
